Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The United States Consulate General in Guayaquil, Ecuador requires housing renovation services for one Government Owned house located in Via a la Costa, Guayaquil. The work required under this contract consists of providing all professional services, labor, materials, equipment, supplies to complete all the works needed for this project. The Contractor's proposal shall include a detailed cost breakdown of the recommended services to be performed.
Work shall be completed in forty-five (45) calendar days. The residence will not be occupied during the execution of this contract. Contractor shall coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for work phasing and job sequencing in each stage of this project in a sequential manner. Contractor has to submit a chronogram for review and approval prior to commencement of work.
The Contractor shall provide all project planning, renovation personnel, equipment, materials, tools, and supervision as needed to complete the services that meet the requirements. The Contractor shall be required to prepare and submit, before the related work commences, product specifications, drawings, project schedule in Gantt format, quality management plan, project safety plan, activity hazard analysis, hot work permit and work costs. All documents must be in English and Spanish, in PDF format and must be sent via email to the COR. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.
