What the gig needs

We are seeking quotes for repair and overhaul of a Direct Current Motor (P/N 708630-3, NSN 6105-01-698-8980) to Ready For Issue condition for the U.S. Navy.

• Scope of repair: Contractor must disassemble, clean, inspect, repair/replace defective components, reassemble, and test the motor to RFI condition per Meggitt Defense Systems drawing 62228, revision latest.
• Contractor-furnished resources: Contractor must provide all facility, labor, materials, parts, tooling, and test equipment — no Government Furnished Property will be provided.
• Repair turnaround time: Estimated RTAT is 627 days, covering repair to 'A' condition plus packaging and return shipment to the Navy; this will become an enforceable delivery date.
• Marking compliance: All markings must conform to MIL-STD-130.
• Buy American: Supplies must comply with Buy American–Free Trade Agreements–Balance of Payments Program requirements (Feb 2024).
• Warranty: Contractor warrants delivered items for 1 year after delivery, with defect notification required within 45 days of discovery.
