We are seeking quotes for repair and modification of an Outer Cylinder, Land component for the U.S. Navy (NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, N00383).
- Scope of Work: Contractor shall repair, test, and inspect the outer cylinder, land items in accordance with the contract's Technical Data Package; all tooling and test equipment are the contractor's sole responsibility.
- Quality System: Contractor must maintain a quality control system meeting MIL-I-45208A, MIL-Q-9858, ISO 9000/9001/9002, or equivalent, with a written Repair Quality Plan submitted for Government review.
- Personnel Certification: Personnel performing soldering tasks must be trained and certified per IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C paragraph 5.1.4 if that standard is referenced in drawings or specs.
- Material Standard: MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited throughout; SAE-AS22759 series wire must be substituted wherever MIL-W-81381 is cited.
- Warranty: Contractor must provide a 12-month warranty on supplies, with defect notification due within 45 days of discovery.
- Buy American / Compliance: Buy American–Free Trade Agreements–Balance of Payments Program requirements apply; NAICS code is 336413 with a 1,250-employee size standard.
