We are seeking quotes for repair and modification of helmet display units and associated replacement parts for the US Navy.
Scope of Work: Contractor must repair, test, and inspect helmet display units (NIIN 014608882 and NIIN 014696497) per contract requirements; all tooling and test equipment are the contractor's responsibility.
Repair Turnaround: RTAT is 31 days after receipt for NIIN 014608882 and 47 days after receipt for NIIN 014696497.
Induction Deadline: Assets must be received within 365 days of contract award; assets received after that date are not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement.
Quality Standard: ISO 9001 quality management system is required; personnel performing soldering tasks must be trained and certified per IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C paragraph 5.1.4.
Contract Type & Warranty: Firm-Fixed Price contract with a 365-day warranty beginning at delivery of each unit.
Compliance Requirements: Buy American/Free Trade Agreements apply; MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited and must be replaced with SAE-AS22759 series wire.
